Just a short walk down a paved trail takes you into this large lava tube...lovely ferns and birdsongs

Part of Volcano National Park. Very accessible lava tube, with railing and lights. Lava tubes are formed by flowing lava underground. It is a short tube but worth the side trip! NOTE: this may be closed due to recent volcanic activity
