Not your typical Tex Mex menu (although they do offer some). Usually busy, so call for a reservation.

Latin food in a sophisticated setting. Good queso, if you like spicy foods ask for the habanero salsa.

Sangria swirls and best salsa in OKC!Seafood enchiladas are pretty amazing also.

I'm a salsa snob and 1492 has THE.BEST.SALSA. The red salsa is great. I'm a hottie (haha) and like to add some of the habanero salsa to that. If you're not sure, just barely dip your chip into it and test the waters. If I'm not careful, chips & salsa could be my entire lunch. I try to save space for tacos. My go to is a beef taco and a side of black beans. Other days, when I'm more hungry, I get the Pick Two taco meal with a side of rice and beans. If I'm low on responsibility for the rest of the day, I'll indulge in a Mexican cerveza or a swirl. :)
