"Alle Carrette" is a must in Monti. Located in Via della Madonna dei Monti 95, just around the corner from the Forum, a few minutes' walk from the Colosseum, between via Madonna dei Monti and via Cavour, with entrance on each street. This pizzeria offers a large variety of Roman style thin crust pizzas: traditional pizza or pizza bianca and lots of different toppings. You can start your dinner by trying some of the good starters on offer: bruschetta, crostini, fried mozzarella, fried artichokes or olive appetizers. Loved by tourists and locals, this pizzeria is always full. Oustanding fried zucchini flowers with mozzarella cheese! And Pizza of course. Close to Imperial Forums and Colosseum at the edge of the nightlife Rione Monti district.
