This park begins in our neighborhood (at Columbia Pike) and extends along the stream northwest past Arlington Blvd and beyond. You get there via either 7th or 9th streets. (Both 8th St. and 8th Rd. dead end before reaching the park). The park's bike path (Four-Mile Run Trail) extends southeast to the Potomac (and ultimately Mt. Vernon) and northwest 45 miles to the foothills of the Blue Ridge.) A pleasant walk anytime. Aspshalt much of the way. Women alone should avoid at night.

A short walk takes you to a green space with creeks and streams, grassy play areas and lovely walk and bike paths. Enjoy a picnic- tables, grills and covered pavilions with facilities await you. .
