This two day trail is approximately 18.5 kilometers long, with the first days walk being 10 kilometers and day two being 8.5 kilometers. There overnight facilities at Suikerkrans Camp which offer 4 huts containing 6 beds each. An ablution block is on-site and the kitchen facility is fully equipped with pots and pans, gas cooker etc while the braai area is stocked with wood. If you do not want to stay for the full trail you can join for a day hike. The scenery is breathtaking in this part of the world and the varied terrain of the trail will allow for a great challenge. Mountains and Highveld plateaus surround you, filled with a variety of plants, shrubs and flowers. Get out your camera and take photos of the great gorges and the stunning waterfalls along the way. You are bound to spot a few animals on your hike, some of which include bushpigs, various antelope, wild cats and a vast array of birds.
