加州扬特维尔

When deciding whether to become an Airbnb host, it is important for you to understand the laws in your city. As a platform and marketplace we do not provide legal advice, but we want to give you some useful links that may help you better understand laws and regulations in Yountville. This list is not exhaustive, but it should give you a good start in understanding your local laws. If you have questions, contact the City’s Planning & Building Department at 707-944-8851 or dlevine@yville.com.

Short-term rental regulations

The City of Yountville only allows long-term rentals (minimum 30 days) to operate with a rental permit, as mentioned in section 8.08.030 of the Municipal Code. In Yountville, short term rentals taking place over a span at/under 29 days are not allowed.

To continue hosting, complete the long term rental Rental Property Registration Form.

Permit/registration requirements

Hosts are required to display their registration number on any listing advertisement.

Add your number to continue hosting short-term stays in Yountville.

Hosts in residentially zoned properties are required to obtain a rental permit. A rental permit must be obtained for each individual property that will be used for long term rentals. If multiple properties have the same street address, but have an individual unit designation (i.e. Unit A, Unit 2) then one registration form can be used.

As part of the application process, all hosts must submit local contact person information, the owner’s contact information, a signed statement affirming compliance with all applicable laws, and a $95 application fee.

Our commitment to your community

We are committed to working with local officials to clarify how local rules impact the short-term rental community. We will continue to advocate for changes that will enable people to rent out their homes.
