HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This was such a wonderful tour, from beginning to end. When we arrived in Mumbai with only two days to explore the city, we thought “it would be so nice to have a friend from here to show us around”. I am so glad we chose this tour because Chirag became that friend! We ended today feeling like we had discovered all of Mumbai. We walked around markets, tried a dozen different foods from street food kiosks, visited the beach for sunset, chatted about all parts of Indian culture, and learned great facts about various neighborhoods along the way. Chirag is very friendly, knowledgeable, patient and kind. He was happy to take detours along the way if we asked about something, and was amazing at taking good care of the older family relative we brought on the tour. For $25 per person, we got an incredible private tour of Mumbai for the whole afternoon into the evening! We had so much fun we will spend tomorrow, our second and last day in Mumbai, with him again!

This was a highlight of our trip to Mumbai. We met Javed (Chirag’s brother) and his driver at 5am on the dot. He was friendly and made us feel very comfortable straight away.
The tour was amazing. We started off at the fish market, for a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Being with Javed made us feel safe and he spoke to those there and we were welcome to take pictures and get right in on the action. He also took us for a breakfast of traditional food at the fish market. We would never have experienced this otherwise.
We then went on to ride the commuter train, visit Dhobi Ghat, and all the markets. Javed is friendly, very knowledgeable and a lovely person, so my partner and I had such a great morning with him. The vegetable, fruit and flower markets are chaotic, but we made our way through them like locals with his help. You would definitely not be able to experience this in this way without him, even if you are a seasoned traveller! I would 💯 recommend this tour!
