My favourite food tour in Hanoi .... and I did a few !

This was on the back of a motorbike, so able to go further, see more !
Picked up at hotel, and off we went ! Brilliant experience !

Starter in Old Town, then we ventured out across the Red River, enjoyed a Nem Nuong dinner !

I was the only person on the tour that night, which meant I was able to 'customize' the tour, after two dishes, I could eat no more ... asked if we could go to Train Street ....
Watched the train, had a beer, interesting history discussion and back to the hotel. Host spoke perfect English !

We had a wonderful time and had the opportunity to try food we would not have otherwise had the chance to try. Nam provided engaging and insightful conversation that made the food tour even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time, Dang was the best guide! Taking a motorbike tour, instead of a walking one, allowed us to get out of the old quarter and try some truly authentic dishes. 2 or 3 of the places we went didn't have a single tourist in them - just locals eating. Dang included some local history, he was incredibly kind and funny, and every dish we tried was delicious! Bring your appetite, we are A LOT of food!
