Awesome experience! Jonathan was friendly and welcoming and made me feel right at home. After going over safety protocols and the process of pen making, we went ahead and turned a pen starting with a wood blank of our choosing. We drilled, turned on the lathe, sanded, polished and assembled our own pen which we got to keep. A very enjoyable and rewarding experience which I would not hesitate to recommend. No prior skills required!

This experience covers every aspect of pen making, from start to finish. Absolutely no prior experience is needed as Jonathan is extremely thorough, clear, and patient. He will demonstrate and explain every step of the way while making sure that you are safe and feel comfortable with the tools at all times. This experience is easy to follow and lots of fun, and his workshop is a perfect environment to do it in.

I not only walked away with the most unique and beautiful pen, but with the satisfaction of having made it completely by myself! I love my pen and highly recommend this experience to all ages and skill levels.

Jonathan is a very knowledgeable and fun host. He will teach you new skills and show you how to build a pen from start to finish without doing it for you, while still providing good support and guidance. The experience is a great intro into wood working and pen turning, and Jonathan makes it fun and relaxing. Overall a great experience and worth the time and money!
