We were fortunate enough to have a private tour with Burak for 1.5 days when on a cruise. I wasn’t sure how to fit everything I wanted to do into this time period, so it was nice to tell Burak everything I was interested in and have him organize. We love cats, so he was flexible and sweet enough to take us to get some cat treats and go to the Cat Museum. He was very knowledge and personable when he was taking us through the historic sites and he knew where to get the best food. He was very attentive to our needs and was very flexible if we wanted to do anything else. Do yourself a favor and explore Istanbul with Burak, you won’t regret it!

Baruk was an amazing guide who created a wonderful personalized experience for me. He explained about the long history of Istanbul in a way that was so interesting. He showed me photos on his camera that depicted the geographical vastness from the days when it was Constantinopole, now Istanbul, that in the day covered most of what is now Europe. As we walked the paths to the many sights of Istanbul, the way he explained about Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, and the Basilica Cistern seemed to be like someone who actually lived through their history. At a lunch break we discussed the Muslim culture, the Call to Prayer and traveling - his and mine - and places we intended to visit or return to.

Burak is a very pleasant and charming host, very knowledgeable, accommodating, eloquent and friendly.
We were very well taken care of during our time together and enjoyed the experience and the communication quite a lot.
