The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

★Wombat Forest Country Retreat★

The Retreat is nestled in an idyllic country setting in Trentham East, a short drive to Daylesford, Kyneton and Woodend. It’s attached to the main building but has its own entrance and no shared internal spaces. It offers 1 bedroom with ensuite, a bright open-plan living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a covered deck with peaceful views over farmland, forest and water. Ideal for 2 guests (sleeps up to 4). Note: a CCTV camera at the front of the property that monitors the driveway for safety.

House of Mud and Straw

House of Mud & Straw sits solidly & silently on open paddocks shared with cows & the sweeping weather. Foletti's Barn is a cosy retreat. The perfect place to stop, relax, and leave the everyday behind for a few days. We are located in town, a short distance from Victoria Park and just a few minutes walk to beautiful Lake Daylesford, a good stroll in to the centre for shopping and food. The barn is positioned back on the property overlooking trees giving it a wonderful secluded feel. Please be aware that Foletti's Barn is not set up or safe for children or infants.
