A beautiful beach at Byron Bay for a wander, and breakfast or lunch afterwards at casual The Treehouse restaurant, Belongil Beach.

If you want to walk a stretch of sandy beach where you will pass only a handful of people and a puppy or two (it is leash-free), head north past The Wreck and keep on walking. The crowds will thin and you’ll feel alone in the best possible way. While Belongil is unpatrolled and slightly more dangerous for swimming, it is perfect for sunset walks, sunbaking and beach games.

Great place to walk the dog off lead, swim, eat pizza at Treehouse and surf.
