This lovely National Trust garden at Trengwainton is perhaps the best for exotic trees and shrubs. including tree ferns. Many tender species flourish in the unusually mild climate, a plantsman's paradise. There is a new pond and summerhouse with fine views to St Michaels Mount, also featured.

Trengwainton (Cornish: Tredhigwenton, meaning farm of eternal springtime) is a country house and garden situated in Madron, near Penzance, Cornwall, England, UK, which has been in the ownership of the National Trust since 1961. The garden is noted for its collection of exotic trees and shrubs and offers views over Mount's Bay and The Lizard.

Beautiful gardens owned by the National Trust with spectacular Magnolias, Camelia's and Rhododendrons. Lovely far reaching views from the terrace and there is also a Ha ha. Excellent restaurant and National Trust Shop Dogs are allowed We have two lovely beaches in the village which can be reached by car or on foot continuing from Pendeen lighthouse. Boat Cove and Portherris Beach.
