All of Swanage loves it's pier. Dorset kayaking leave from Swanage as do the fishing trips booked at the fishing shop. Peak season, book a half day round trip sail via Brownsea Island to Poole Harbour and spend 2 half hours ashore. Snorkel under the pier and you will find spider crabs and grey mullet.

Great views of Swanage Bay. Very relaxing for a stroll and to look at the 10,000 brass plaques embedded in floorboards
