上海自然博物馆（上海科技馆自然分馆）是中国最大的自然博物馆之一。新馆位于静安雕塑公园内，外形似一只巨型鹦鹉螺，故被称为“绿螺”。新馆建筑面积45257平方米，总投资13亿元，由美国帕金斯威尔设计师事务所与同济大学建筑设计研究院共同设计。建筑东侧外立面以绿化铺筑与地铁13号线自然博物馆站的出入口相连接。

The word to describe the Natural History Museum is ‘comprehensive’, and you’re advised by the museum to put aside at least four hours of your day in order to absorb everything. There's a 4D movie theatre, an outdoor exhibit garden, and numerous exhibit spaces taking you right through from the Big Bang to a lifelike recreation of a busy African savannah to scale models of early Chinese agricultural communities. The stunning ‘bioclimatic’ building was designed by internationally renowned architecture practice Perkins + Will, with an ‘intelligent building skin’ to maximise daylight. Its four external walls emulate natural elements – including a vertical garden on the east wall.
