Formerly Sharon meadow, this huge grassy space is named out a beloved Sf comedian and it’s great for picnics, people watching and festivals. Over the years I’ve seen opera in the park, AIDS Memorial quilt and drum circles. Sometimes closed ( or open with tickets) for festivals

Adjacent to "Hippie Hill" ... great place to go on a weekend to listen to music and play frisbee or whatever.

Beautiful meadow! Large playground to the south with old restored carousel. Hippie Hill on the north, on sunny days filled with post-flower childrens, playing drums, dancing, smoking....
