The Incline is a vertical trail carved straight-up the mountain in Manitou Springs that is nationally known. It is a great hike with sweeping views. There are lots of other trails in the area.

The famous Incline hike is 2,744 steps with a total elevation gain of 2,000 ft. in under one mile. Free reservations are required. There are a couple parking options so decide in advance.

The base of the Incline is located in Manitou Springs near the base of the Barr Trail and across the street from the Cog Railroad.
