I love hiking and this is one of my local favorite trails . It can get pretty challenging but its such a nice walk to get away from all the noise. Now the city requires parking permits but if you don't mind the walk if you park far enough you can walk to the entrance . I normally use the entrance right off beverly blvd but there is another entrance on the corner of orange and green leaf in the city of Whittier you may luck out and find parking there.

I've been hiking it most of my life and I love it. When you're at the top of the hills you can see the ocean or Los Angeles or Pasadena or Anaheim. To get to this trail, you can walk or drive to the end of Greenleaf Avenue. There's a small parking lot there with enough space for maybe 10 cars. If the lot is full, there's usually parking on a nearby street. The entrance has a nice, gentle incline into the park before the ascent begins. You'll love it.

Great place to start the day. Beautiful scenic trails, with amazing views of LA and Long Beach. Great place for an intense workout or a scenic walk.
