Lincolnville Beach features a long strip of sand that is great for wading or swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. Also good for a picnic or launching a kayak.

Grab a beach chair and walk down the road to sit on the beach. Beautiful sunrises! Local tip: walk a little further down past the ferry terminal...there is a better beach you can access by walking through the ferry parking lot.

At 15 minutes away, this is the nearest place to find a public sandy beach. Popular. Can be crowded in late summer months. Stores and food (including lobster are right there). Insider tip: Go to the part of the beach to the right of the ferry terminal. It's dog friendly and nicer and quieter.
