This is one of, if not THE, oldest general store still operating in North Carolina. A very cool place to stop by, get an ice cream, and pick up some tools (if you need them😊).

Ice cream! This general store has been around for ages, and has a variety of things from hardware to garden tools to fresh produce and eggs. But, what folks seem to always come for is the ice cream. It's not surprising to see a line, and it's well worth the short wait. A favorite flavor: moose tracks extreme.
