One of Britain's oldest nature reserves, Wicken Fen is a delight for the naturalist and walker alike. A remnant of ancient fenland with wild flower meadows, reedbeds, and sedge fields. Enjoy its rare birds and wildfowl, plants and insects accessible by boardwalks, bike, boat and on foot.
A lovely place to have a walk amidst typical fen landscape. Also a cafe. In Wicken itself there is a decent pub.
