Here you’ll see local Chinese feasting happily with three generations around the table – dim sum is a family affair. Weekend tables will require a wait. But when you see their menu, it’s no surprise why – ingredients like kale, squid ink, crab roe, and truffle provide a unique twist to the dim sum experience. Rest assured, they do the staples right: fantastic BBQ pork buns (char siu bao) and turnip cake (lo bok gou) especially. In some regions, dim sum is also known as ‘yum cha’ meaning ‘drink tea’. With myriad varieties of tea and some of the best baked egg tarts in the city, it’s always lovely to end your meal with a pot on a sweet note. Leaving the lid of the teapot ajar is code for ‘please refill’.

My family's favorite Dim Sum Place! Highly recommended! They serve Dim Sum in mornings and Chinese meals and hot pot in evenings. There is often a long wait for Dim Sum ~ 45 min plus.

Authentic Chinese food and dim sum. Beware of the possible lines during the weekends for dim sum.

Hip dim sum restaurant. Sister restaurant to the acclaimed Koi Palace in Daly City
