爱与希望之宫（Marukataiyawan Palace）由拉玛六世1923年所修建，是为了希望他的爱妃能为他生个小王子。然而最终未能如愿，在王妃生下一名小公主后，拉玛六世便移民至瑞士定居。拉玛七世由他最小的侄子继任，如今只留下这座宫殿成为永远的怀念。 爱与希望之宫是一座以1080根柚木支撑而起的16栋木制高脚宫殿，由长廊连接在一起，从陆上延伸至海滨，华丽而安详，柚木柱子典雅大方，带有殖民风格。迎面是两层楼高的宴会厅，墙面淡蓝，柱子鹅黄，搭配上红色的屋顶。地板一尘不染，倒映着回廊的廊柱，让空间更为宽阔。赤脚走在柚木地板上，望着深邃曲折的回廊，吹着海上送来的轻风，心会不由自主的安静下来。

"Mrigadayavan Palace. Situated in Cha-am in the province of Phetchaburi, Thailand, Mrigadayavan Palace was a seaside palace of His Majesty King Vajiravudh or King Rama VI who ruled Siam from 1910 to 1925." Wikipedia It is quite far away from us but when you drive to/from Bangkok, it is a wonderful place to visit. There is also nearby Tea House under the same name. Perfect afternoon tea !!
