Part of the saga of Chief Joseph's attempt to escape condemnation to Indian Reservations in U.S. and join First Nation tribes in Canada, ...definitely a "must do" for people interested in American history. This will be part of a wonderful day trip to the Big Hole Valley, which is also part of the Lewis & Clark Expedition (& where Sacajawea joined the Expedition).
