Hengistbury Head is a great place to bring the whole family. You can enjoy the spectacular views, earned with a little effort, from the top of Warren Hill. You can take the land train for gentle and easy access to Mudeford Sand spit, then enjoy the view with a cup of tea and a slice of cake, or something more substantial in one of the cafes. Large easy access carpark is available at Hengistbury Head.

Approx 10 minute drive or a pleasant 45 minute walk from the Airbnb. More of a wild natural beach area with sand dunes and long distance views from the top of Hengistbury Head Hill (a short but steep walk from the public car park).

Walk all the way to Muderford sandbanks/ split. Stop off at the Beach House cafe. You can also get the ferry to Highcliffe, enjoy a nice walk through the woodland and see Highcliffe Castle.

Fabulous place to walk or catch the noddy train. Catch the ferry from Mudeford Quay to Hengistbury Head walk around the headland stunning views. You can also catch a ferry from there to Christchurch Quay and walk around the magnificent Priory church.
