This is a famous/ highly rated BBQ restaurant in the Bywater. It is a no-frills, little hole in the wall place with not much seating. But, you will definitely get your BBQ fix here!! All the meat is slow-cooked/smoked, just falls off the bone. For sides, try the baked beans and slaw. $-$$

This BBQ restaurant has the best food in the area and has been featured on the tv show Diners, Drive In’s and Dives but come early for seating.
This is THE best BBQ I have ever had! Get there early to avoid the line and also to get the burnt tri-tip bits! You can’t go wrong with any of the sides! Everything is so soooo good. Make sure to finish your meal with the peanut butter pie!
“ AMAZING pizza. Its my personal favorite and it’s super quirky and definitely a hipster spot. Next door is Bratz y'all, Down the street is a cool beer brewery called Parleaux Beer Lab and Bud Rips & markey's bar (Probably the best hipster dive bars, quite the eclectic New Orleans crowd but so fun)”
“At the end of the Bywater, a wine bar with outdoor courtyard and there's often live music playing”

“Down-home country classics & a busy brunch in a bustling space hung with local art, plus a bar. Great Sunday’s brunch. ”
