Vancouver's Main Street has long been considered hipster-central, and the nightlife on Main and SoMa (South Main) has a hipster appeal: it's casual and relaxed, focused on music and atmosphere rather than style and decor, and substantially less "meat market" than the clubs in the downtown core.
