University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is one of the nicest in the country. "The Arb" as locals refer to it is famous for patenting several popular apple varieties and is currently working on cold resistant grapes for Minnesota's blossoming wine community. A 'can't miss" is the iconic Nine Mile Drive around perimeter with several dedicated garden areas featuring different local horticulture specialties.

1,200-acre horticultural garden and arboretum. Many different themed gardens. Wear comfortable shoes - lots of walking. And clear you phone's memory for all the pictures!
