The artfully served wine flights are a favorite at Applewood. It's also a good bet on a busy weekend, when it's often difficult to get into Warwick Valley Winery.

“I've been coming here for years and it's always a great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere and a great view and live music on weekends. The food is good. The ciders are all great- especially the rose and mead. Be aware the road to get here is a gravel road with rocks for about a quarter mile, stop depending on the car you have it could be rough on your tires. Plenty of parking even when it gets busy.” — DL
