You can hike to the top of either, or both Sharp Top or Flat Top mountains to enjoy the breathtaking views. There are picnic areas and camping areas, a big pond at the lodge with a lovely hiking trail around it. While you are in the neighborhood there, look up Johnson's Orchards. They always have something fun to do when you have had your fill of the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
