Sit directly at the Spree, in Kreuzberg, near Oberbaumbrücke. The "East Side Gallery" is on the other side of the canal. Maybe make a reservation for the table.

Nice rever-views, good, pricey food but a bit conservative/boring. Nevertheless recommended - e.g. for breakfast.

Riogrande restaurant offers a nice mix of Austrian food. Prices range between 5-25 Euro. Table linen is rare to find in xberg, but you'll might enjoy sitting at the water front. I like the Schnitzel.
