马六甲荷兰红屋（STADTHUYS）及教堂约建于1641至1660年间，是荷兰殖民者留在远东的历史最久远的建筑物。红屋由当时的荷兰殖民地政府专门由荷兰运来的红砖所建，原名，即总督府之意，俗称“红屋”，历来为殖民者的行政中心。1987年开始，马六甲州政府将红屋由行政中心改建为历代州王朝的历史展览馆，现为历史及人类博物馆。红屋旁边的天主教堂建于1753年，是荷兰殖民地时期的典型建筑，亦由红砖建成。教堂内有手工制造的长凳，黄铜圣经和绘在釉彩瓷砖上的“最后的晚餐”像等。

The Stadthuys is the most imposing relic of the Dutch era in Melaka . It is the massive red town hall and governors' residence,built between 1641 and 1660 and believed to be the oldest Dutch building in the East. Famous with it's red color building, Stadhuys is rich with Mallaca history. It is known as oldest Dutch building in the East, previously a State government offices after The Dutch captured Melaka in 1641. Today, it becomes a History and Ethnography Museum of Melaka. Admission Fee: RM5 for all 4 museums Tour Guide: Free tour guide on 10:30am and 2:30am on Saturdays and Sundays Distance: 3.1km Drive via car: 11mins Walk: 35 mins
