Fisherman's Wharf is a colourful neighbourhood of house boats that are fun to tour around. It's also one of the best places in town to get fish and chips! Water taxis stop here throughout the day and it can also be fun to hop on one of those over to China Town or another corner of the harbour.
Fisherman's Wharf Park is a hidden gem located in downtown Victoria. Take in the scenery of colourful restaurants and house boats. Try some fresh delicious seafood and wander down the docks.
This unique marine destination offers food kiosks, unique shops and eco-tour adventures amongst fishing vessels, pleasure boats with live-aboard residents, float homes, and commercial businesses. The wharf is a great destination for those seeking fresh fish or seafood.

“Meander along the pathways through wild flower meadows, past centuries-old trees, & resident peacocks, goats, heron, ducks & turtles. Climb to the top of Beacon Hill to admire stunning Salish Sea views. A true city oasis!”
“BC's natural and cultural history. A moderate sized museum that is not overwhelming. Feature exhibits are usually great. Plus IMAX”
“Special dinner or you just love fine food, don't hesitate to make a reservation (a week ahead if you can) for this place. The food is amazing. More of an upscale place but in Victoria, you don't have to really dress up to go anywhere. Check out their menu online. This place won't disappoint - don't expect to just show up and get a table, you can try but I have always had to make a reservation in advance.”
“Originally built for the Canadian Pacific Railway, the Fairmont Empress is now one of the most exemplary landmarks in the Edwardian era. Visit and have tea!”
