DC is famous for our monuments, which everyone pretty much knows about. But, one of my favorite things to do is walk around the monuments at night. They take on a whole new personality, especially the Korean War Memorial. So if you get a chance, visit the monuments at night. It's safe and family friendly as well.

This memorial is a little out of the way but definitely work the trip. Watch the eyes on the sculpture as you walk around the memorial. They are designed to follow you.
