Our favorite place to recoup your zen. Wonderful for a jog. Explore the path along the boardwalk which is simply calming and magical. Highly recommend to visit during June, July, and August when the lotus flowers are blooming.
Great place for a walk or bike ride. The Anacostia Riverwalk trail runs through here and extends way out into PG county. This is a hidden gem in DC for biking and running.

You can bike here easily, using the new, wonderful, well-marked Anacostia River bike path, and you should!
A little-known spot, the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens are an easy drive (ride share/taxi). You never know what is going to be in season (www.nps.gov/keaq)!
