Our much loved local independent cinema built in 1907 and recently renovated. The auditorium is large with reclining super soft seats. Its ornate ceiling and plush curtains give a sense of the bygone days of cinema. From Notting Hill Gate Underground station (District Line) take exit 2 which is opposite and to the left of the ticket barriers. As you reach the top of the stairs The Gate can be seen ahead, less than a minute away.

The Gate cinema at Notting Hill Gate is a wonderful retro cinema which shows art house films.

Independent art house theatre with comfy seating and a nice bar.
