From food halls to roof top restaurants this is the best department store in the region. 30 min drive. Park in John Lewis multi storey and walk over.

Newcastle first department store opened in 1882. The Food Hall is a particular favourite which is situated on the Ground Floor

Fenwicks Department Store has an impressive facade on Northumberland Street and sells most things. The Food Hall is good and has several nice places to eat and drink within it. Fenwick's joins onto the main shopping mall, Eldon Square which also has a John Lewis and all the usual retail chain stores.
