The best sushi in town at a somewhat reachable price (at least compared to Matsuhisa) It's been around for over 2 decades, maybe more and is always, always impeccable seafood and Scotty the bartender is bound to make you laugh while you have your pre dinner cocktail. Intimate and low key
Our favorite place for Sushi. Favorite Sushi Roll is "Godzilla." This amazing place is just a block or two from our front door.
“Established in 1892, this brick-walled American tavern serves up pub fare & occasional live music. Fun local scene. Food is pretty good.”
“The best breakfast at a great price! If your looking for something substantial to give you the energy to ski or hike all day, this is the place. Biscuits and Gravy, plate size pancakes are a few of my favorites. ”
“Snowmass: Good fancy food, good sourcing. They deliver to you! Or walk down to the Viceroy hotel ”
“A Krabloonik Dog Sled Tour is the best way to explore the pristine Colorado backcountry. For over an hour, their Snowmass sled rides twist and wind not far from Aspen through Snowmass backcountry on an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime journey. Each sled, which can carry two adults and a small child, is pulled by 8-10 Alaskan husky sled dogs and is guided by an experienced musher. Their dogs are born and bred to run and they love the thrill of the Snowmass backcountry just as much as you will. Whether sunny or snowing, there’s no better way to experience the Colorado wilderness than in the seat of one of their dog sled tours. Wild game & seafood dishes served in a rustic cabin with mountain views as well. ”
“The legend of Hunter S. Thompson — and many of this quirky enclaves' characters — lives on in this rustic road house just outside town. Perfect for a bike-ride lunch down the Rio Grande (in the summer). You can either ride back up to town or take a taxi. In the winter its about a 15 minute drive.”
