Avila Beach is great for: Sunbathing (the weather is almost always nice!) Children (there’s a playground and aquarium right next to the sand) Restaurants Shopping Friday night Farmers Markets in the summer

Avila is a sleepy beach town. It is a favorite of locals and those who visit. Lots of restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, a bike/walking path and a great beach. There is also a dog beach down the street from the main beach. The have a small aquarium and a cute park for the kiddos.
