Beautiful scenic Kaaterskill Fall is visited by thousands throughout the year. A wonderful hike to the two-tier falls is worth every step and ever-changing depending on the season. One can spend the afternoon dipping in and out of the pools, exploring, and picnicking. #Katterskillfalls

A round trip hike to the falls is only 1.4 miles from the trail head. Please pay attention to parking restrictions, Hunter has begun towing cars illegally parked along 23 for safety reasons. You can swim in the falls and view the Hudson Valley. A magical and sacred spot renowned by native Americans and Hudson River School painters.

Easy hike and much easier to park than the Kaaterskill Falls hike. Great views of the falls from above.
