A wonderful evening stroll is to walk to Grotta on the Seltjarnanes peninsula - during summer. In fall and winter - a walk to see the northern lights. Probably the best way to see them by going on foot.

Unique view point in the city where you can often see the northern lights because there aren't any city lights there.
