Naples-born pizzaiolo Daniele Uditi continues Pizzana’s winning formula at this outlet on a mostly retail stretch of Robertson. He uses organic, stone-ground Italian flour and a 48-hour fermentation process to produce crisp traditional Neapolitan pies. The cacio e pepe and neo margherita are sure bets. Sandwiches during lunch are also fantastic.

Pizzana is all about the dough. You won't notice the minimalist decor, which leaves room for the crowds of people who line up on any night for Daniele Uditi's Neopolitan style pies: The bianca, topped with ribbons of fennel, sausage, and incredibly dreamy mozzarella laid atop the perfectly chewy, delicately blistered curst is an absolute necessity. (The shaved artichoke salad is also a must.) The hungrier you are, the better.

Amazing Neopolitan pizza on Robertson (fun street to walk around and shop). The Corbarina is a personal favorite -- aromatic and unique.
