We are the oldest farmer's market west of the Mississippi, founded in 1779. Our vendor's include, local farmers, produce vendors, hot food vendors, an award winning spice shop, world class cheese vendors, olive oils and pasta vendors, a full service florist, crafts and other general merchandise.

Soulard market is one of the largest and oldest farmers market's west of the Mississippi. It was started in 1779 and is the St. Louis original farmers market.
Est. 1779 - One of the oldest markets west of the Mississippi River and is located one block north at 8th Street and Lafayette Avenue. Features locally grown and shipped produce, spices, coffee, baked goods, flowers and general merchandise.
Great Farmers Market. Kid friendly. Often has entertainment. Must see in St. Louis
Saturday morning bloody marys and great walking around spot. Also near other Soulard restaurants and bars.
One of the oldest open-air food markets in the US and a great place to buy fresh food at good prices. You will see a cross section of the entire city shopping here.
Open weekend mornings only, haggle local vendors for their fresh produce, meats, breads, and cheese. Be sure to try a Bloody Mary and a chicken teriyaki kabob.
