If you want to relax on a beach, with a nice glass of wine. Or have a nice small meal, this place it to be recommended. Also the local brewery can be found here and for 1 euro you can take the ferry to the other side. lot of events happen here. try it you will enjoy.

In 2018, a new pavilion was built along the Hollandsche Ijssel made of sea containers. The catering facility can be found on the city beach of the developing GOUD ASFALT site, a citizens' initiative of many people involved. A new and innovative hotspot is being built here just outside the age-old center of Gouda. At the beach pavilion everyone is welcome to enjoy everything we have to offer to other people; rest, eating, drinking, (special) activities and especially a lot of fun. With a broad team consisting of various age categories, interests and experiences, there will always be something for everyone here. There are regular events on the site of Goud Asfalt, such as Food Truck Festivals and larger concerts and dance parties.
