More challenging than the downtown Canmore course, buggies are compulsory here as there's a lot of walking and hills. The views across the valley to downtown and Three Sisters are incredible. There's a great patio at Stoneys Bar and Grill, right next to the 18th hole. Rusticana steak house is also excellent, if you want a more formal meal.

SilverTip was named for a rare and beautiful type of grizzly bear, and the natural image is a good match for this exhilarating course.
