It offers authentic Afghan food. Kofta kebab with brown rice topped with their spicy, home-made green and white sauce (white sauce is yogurt based, not mayo based), then end with rose pistachio ice cream as dessert.

The $25 lamb chops are an expensive treat but the staff is kind and charming and the cook in the front window is a very sweet man. They are also almost across the street from a Patel Brothers supermarket.

The best Afghanistan food you can get in this area! The lamb kabab, the salmon kabab plus the green rice will make you really happy!

This is a MUST. My #1 recommend. Way better & healthier than NYC chicken and rice food carts. Boneless chicken or steak kabab, grilled tomato, green & white sauce, homemade rose ice cream... cash only
