Protected saltmarsh providing a habitat for many seabirds & young fish as well as flood protection. Excellent for birdwatching, cycling off road.

Many varieties of migrating birds especially Autumn to Wintertime. To name a few the short-eared owl, spoonbills, lapwings, plovers, oystercatchers, and renowned area for shellducks.
