Snowbird offers wonderful skiing in the winter and outdoor activities in the summer. They have some great resturaunts with amazing views. They host Octoberfest during the months of August, September and October.

Beautiful drive up the canyon of Little Cottonwood. You can take the bus at the mouth of the canyon if you don’t have snow tires. Ride the tram up and back down, you don’t have to ski to ride this! Local bands play on the open deck, book a spa appointment after skiing at the Cliff Spa and enjoy dining at one of many restaurants! In the summer ride on the coaster through the trees, or alpine slide (imagine a water slide with no water & a cart with only one handle break!)

Lots of great trails in and around the resort. It’s a great day trip - head up, have lunch and hike around. But note, there may also be mountain bikers on the trails.
