Three months after top chef Geert Van Hecke closed his 3 star De Karmeliet, he is already behind the stove again. The warmly furnished Zet'joe- West-Flemish for 'warm welcome', with the undertone of 'make it especially easy' - is more accessible, a lot smaller, has less kitchen staff and has a (smaller) menu that goes back 'to the time of the past with the knowledge and experience of today '.
