Wonderful new Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere.

Open for breakfast through to dinner, Barbetta is a favourite of ours and offers a menu that does the Italian classics well and also manages to have some fun with them too. There is provedore inside the restaurant where you can bring home a ready-made frozen meal and after a long day exploring Sydney– lasagne, a glass of wine and the setting of ShopHouse, not a terrible idea at all.

Walkup to the top of Paddington . It’s worth it . Great for breakfast or lunch / panini or coffee . Little deli too.

Barbetta is a trendy Italian cafe during the day, and restaurant at night. Located on Elizabeth St, Paddington, Barbetta is a local favourite. Their Shakerato is a must-try.

Barbetta is a great place for pretty much any meal for those of you who like Italian inspired food. They also do pasta making classes, great coffee and excellent Italian style biscuits and pastries. You might struggle to get a table if you arrive right on meal times, and you can't book for small groups, but it's worth a shot if you don't mind waiting a little bit. And if your dining solo, there's an Italian style bar where you can eat your meal alone but still feel the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. The staff are also very friendly and the food quality is ever reliable.
